At Sweetgrass, our mission is to showcase the power and potential of finely-crafted, all-natural cannabis products.
While chemical-based extraction (e.g. BHO) can create good product, we maintain the purest, cleanest and most flavorful expression of cannabis can only be achieved via the craft and care of solventless techniques.
We believe this so strongly, for our in-house product we are committed to only using 100% natural solventless hash. This ensures that you will always experience the most authentic representation of the cultivar, whether as a concentrate, vape, edible or therapeutic.

Our products are handmade, using centuries-old techniques, in a purpose-built solventless lab designed and operated by award-winning hashmaker, Ben McCabe.
We use absolutely no chemicals or other adulterants - only ice, water, heat and pressure - combined with a meticulous attention to detail and an encyclopedic understanding of the plant.
It’s a labor-intensive process combining art and science, but this effort not only increases potency but also can accentuate the unique characteristics of the cultivar.
Crucially, it also preserves the full spectrum of cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonids that work in synergy: the famous “entourage effect.”
Because solventless delivers the most natural expression of the plant, the hashmaker cannot hide behind sub-par material. Only top-quality inputs with particular characteristic are appropriate for making a quality solventless product.
Our team has spent years visiting grows to select partners who can provide the level of quality and range of cultivar we want to process into hash. As we like to say: “the farmer provides the quality, but the hashmaker accentuates it.”
